GRFC - Season 2017 Registration 

Welcome to the 2017 season, we look forward to you signing up and playing for the Tigers in the season ahead.

Online registration is now open via myfootballclub.com.au 

Online Registration is the only registration option. Log onto myfootballclub.com.au and click on the Registration tab

Please register by 1st February to take advantage of early bird registration fees.

Important Registration information: Registrations received after 1st February can only be accepted if there is a vacancy in the team / age group you are applying for. We urge you to register on time to avoid disappointment. You will still be able to apply online after this date however registration acceptance will not be guaranteed. Late registrations (2nd February onwards) that are accepted will incur a $40 late fee.

Enter your name and club and date of birth and the registration process should be easy for you to complete follow the instructions. You will need a FFA number to be able to register, this can be done online. Please register early as possible as this will assist the club to formulate teams and manage age group numbers.

Please note that new player ID photos are required for all players registering in the following grades:

  • U10 boys and girls
  • U14 boys and girls
  • U18 boys and girls
  • All new players aged 10 and over
  • Any player whose photo is now more than three years old - if in doubt update it.

Please upload your photo while registering online. Please follow passport style guidelines:

  • Headshot only
  • Portrait orientation
  • Plain background
  • No glasses (unless approved sport glasses)
  • No hats
  • 122 x 156 pixels

There is an on-line registration helpline to assist you. Please ring the Helpline, not GRFC. The process will enable players to register and pay online using a credit card (Visa or Master card). Please note that a card surcharge applies.

Traditional Clubhouse Registration:

The face-to-face registration day for new players to show their proof of age and address documentation will be at the Clubhouse, Oyster Bay Oval on Sunday 29th January from 1-5pm.

Please note you will be doing the registrations online, importantly new players please bring your documents (photocopies) with you.  

·       Please contact the Club Treasurer - Matt Shaw - if you are unable to support full payment at nominated club registration days, GRFC is prepared to make arrangements, but full payment is required prior to playing.

·       Payment is required in full at Registration and prior to playing. 

Family Discount:

You're eligible for a $65 discount on the 3rd and any subsequent registrations in your family. Just select "Step 1 - Additional items (purchase additional items)" before paying for the 3rd player within My Football Club to receive the discount. Proof of Age:

As per Sutherland Shire Football Association rules of registration, original birth certificates, driver’s license or passports must be produced by players registering with the Association for the first time, these documents are to be sighted by club officials.

Proof of Residence:

It is an Association requirement that all new players must reside in the Sutherland Shire and need to show proof of residence if registering for a first time, Proof documents may include driver’s license, council rates or utility bill in your name.

GRFC Junior Team Grading Days: Sunday 5th February and Sunday 12th February

Upon feedback from previous years grading, we have allocated separate grading times for boys and girls for mini roos teams that are graded (ie Under 8’s to Under 11’s).

Sunday 5th February:

  • 8.00am – Under 7’s boys & girls
  • 9.30am – Under 9’s boys only
  • 11:00am -Under 6’s boys and girls (sausage sandwich for under 6’s to follow as well as an orientation for parents).
  • 1.00pm – Under 8’s boys only
  • 3.00pm – Under 10’s boys only
  • 4.45pm – Under 11’s boys only 

Sunday 12th February:

  • 8.00am – Under 8’s girls only
  • 9.30am – Under 9’s girls only
  • 11.00am – Under 10’s girls only & Under 11’s girls only
  • 1.30pm – Under 12’s boys & girls
  • 2.30pm – Under 13’s boys & girls
  • 3.30pm – Under 14’s boys & girls, Under 15’s boys, Under 16’s boys & girls, Under 18 boys & girls.

Please bring kids along with their boots (or sneakers) and shin pads as all kids will have a kick on the day. All enquiries relating to grading are be directed in writing to grading.coordinator@grfc.com.au

Grading may not be required for some age groups due to numbers etc.  We will attempt to contact you if this is the case, but please keep an eye on our website www.grfc.com.au for updates.

Coaches and Managers:

  • Coach’s and Manager’s 2017 application forms will need to be completed
  • The application form can be downloaded here
  • A completed Coaches and Manager form can be handed in at registration days or emailed to headcoach@grfc.com.au
  • The club will actively encourage coaches to seek qualifications and attend club coaching sessions supported by our GRFC Technical Directors.
  • All coaches and managers are required under law to complete a Working with Children Declaration.
