GRFC - Season 2018 Registration 

2018 season is NOW OPEN.

Your Committee has been busy preparing for 2018 and all of the information regarding registration, grading, the Active Kids rebate and other important dates can be found below.  We hope that you all return for another season and encourage others to join in the fun at GRFC.

2018 REGISTRATION

  • Registration now open via myfootballclub.com.auOnline registration is the only registration option
  • JUNIORS: If you wish to claim the $100 Active Kids rebate for 4.5 to 18-year-old players you will need to first apply for your voucher, then enter via My Football Club just before the payment screen.
  • Normal registration closed midnight 7th February. Registrations for U8s and above from 8th February will be subject to team vacancy and incur a $40 late fee.
  • Please register early as possible as this will assist the club to formulate teams and manage age group numbers, and also ensure team placement.
  • Please register in the age group you would like to play - kids can choose to play up an age group if they like and will have the option of two age groups when they register.
  • There will be further face-to-face registration days at the clubhouse on the 11th and 18th February (9-4pm) for new players to show documentation and/or to pay your registration by cash. The gear stall will also be open on these days.

  • There is an on-line registration helpline to assist you. Please ring the Helpline, not GRFC. The process will enable players to register and pay online using a credit card (Visa or Master card). Please note that a card surcharge applies. 

Please note that new player ID photos are required for all players registering in the following grades:

  • U10 boys and girls
  • U14 boys and girls
  • U18 boys and girls
  • All new players aged 10 and over
  • Any player whose photo is now more than three years old - if in doubt update it.

Please upload your photo while registering online. Please follow passport style guidelines:

  • Headshot only
  • Portrait orientation
  • Plain background
  • No glasses (unless approved sport glasses)
  • No hats
  • 122 x 156 pixels


Family Discount:

You're eligible for a $65 discount on the 3rd and any subsequent registrations in your family. Just select "Step 1 - Additional items (purchase additional items)" before paying for the 3rd player within My Football Club to receive the discount.


Traditional Clubhouse Registration:

The remaining face-to-face registration days for new players to show their proof of age and address documentation are at the Clubhouse, Oyster Bay Oval on Sunday 11th and 18th February from 9-4pm.

Please note you will still need to register online, rego day is for ID sightings and cash payments only.

Proof of Age:

As per Sutherland Shire Football Association rules of registration, original birth certificates, driver’s license or passports must be produced by players registering with the Association for the first time, these documents are to be sighted by club officials.

Proof of Residence:

It is an Association requirement that all new players must reside in the Sutherland Shire and need to show proof of residence if registering for a first time, Proof documents may include driver’s license, council rates or utility bill in your name.

GRFC Junior Team Grading Days: 11th to 18th February

Please bring kids along with their boots (or sneakers) and shin pads as all kids will have a kick on the day. 

Grading may not be required for some age groups due to numbers etc.  We will attempt to contact you if this is the case, but please keep an eye on our website and Facebook page for updates.

  • Junior teams from U8 / W08 and up are graded on ability, with U7 / W7s invited to trial for our A / B teams (optional grading)
  • All enquiries relating to grading are be directed in writing to grading.coordinator@grfc.com.au, however please review the club's grading policy and Grading Day FAQ first.

Coaches and Managers:

  • Coach’s and Manager’s application forms will need to be completed
  • The application form can be downloaded here
  • A completed Coach and/or Manager form can be handed in at registration days or emailed to head.coach@grfc.com.au
  • The club will actively encourage coaches to seek qualifications and attend club coaching sessions supported by our GRFC Head Coach.
  • All coaches and managers are required under law to complete a Working with Children Declaration.

Club Playing Strip and Clothing:

Juniors will need to buy club shorts and socks and will be given a playing shirt for the season. Seniors will also need to buy their own jersey. Our gear stall will be open on rego days, with additional gear nights to be scheduled before the season starts.
